Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery ground cable, Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Remove the watershield.
Disconnect the latch lever from the door lock cylinder.
1. Remove the E-clip.
2. Disconnect the latch lever.

NOTE: The door disarm switch can be installed in more than one position. Before removing the switch from the cylinder it may be necessary to mark the position of the switch in relation to the lock cylinder.

Remove the door disarm switch.
- Disconnect disarm switch electrical connector.

NOTE: The door disarm switch can be installed in more than one position. Use the reference marks applied in the removal procedure to index the new door disarm switch to the lock cylinder.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
