Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the LH spare tire trim panel.
  3. Remove the spare tire.
  4. Disconnect the wiring connectors and the antenna lead-in cable.
  5. Remove the audio unit.
    1. Remove the two retaining screws.
    2. Remove the retaining nut.
    3. Remove the audio unit.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
