Removal and Installation

    All Vehicles 

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

    2. Sedan 

  2. Position back the RH truck liner.

    3. Station Wagon 

  3. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .

    4. All Vehicles 

  4. Remove the inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch.
    1. Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector.
    2. Remove the screws and the switch.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
