Digital Transmission Range (Tr) Sensor: Removal

  1. Set the parking brake.
  2. Place the transaxle range selector lever in NEUTRAL.
  3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  4. Remove the engine air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
  5. Disconnect the connector.

  6. Disconnect the shift cable.

  7. Remove the manual control lever.

  8. Remove the digital transmission range (TR) sensor.
