Removal and Installation

Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
Remove the three thermostat housing bolts.

Remove the thermostat O-ring seal.
- Inspect the sealing surfaces.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
