Lower Intake Manifold: Installation

  1. Clean and inspect all mating surfaces.
  2. Install new gaskets in the lower intake manifold.
  3. Install the lower intake manifold assembly and tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.

  4. Connect the fuel injector electrical connectors.

  5. Connect the fuel hose spring lock coupling. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
  6. Install the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .
