Camshafts RH: Removal

Remove the timing drive components. For additional information, refer to TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS .

CAUTION: Record the camshaft bearing cap location. The camshaft bearing caps are positional and must be installed in their original locations and orientations or engine damage can occur.

Loosen the RH camshaft thrust cap bolts.
Loosen the RH camshaft cap bolts in sequence to allow the camshafts to rise from the cylinder head and remove the caps.

Remove the camshafts.
