Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
  2. Detach the wiring harness.

  3. Remove the nut and bolt and position the coolant expansion tank out of the way.

  4. Remove the nut and disconnect the wiring harness retainer.

  5. Remove the nuts and the bolt. Position the reservoir out of the way.

  6. Using the special tool, remove the pump pulley (3A733).

  7. NOTE: If the pulley hub has no marks or one mark, mark the pulley hub with paint before installing it. If the pulley hub has two marks, install a new pulley.

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Use the special tool to install the pulley.
