Removal and Installation

  1. Detach the wiring harness.

  2. Remove the nut and disconnect the wiring harness retainer.

  3. Remove the nut and the bolt and position the degas bottle out of the way.

  4. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses. Drain the fluid into a suitable container.

  5. Remove the nuts, the bolt and the reservoir (3E764).

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  7. Fill, purge and leak check the system. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
