Safety Belt Buckle and Pretensioner - Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR), SuperCab: Installation

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions and notes at the beginning of the removal procedure.
- Position the safety belt buckle and pretensioner to the seat and install the nut.NOTE: When tightening the safety belt buckle pretensioner retaining nut, make sure that the seat backrest pivot bolt does not turn with the nut.
- Route the safety belt buckle pretensioner harness and usage detection switch wire harness as noted in removal.
- Install the safety belt buckle pretensioner and usage detection switch electrical connectors to the seat cushion pan.
- Restore the vehicle to operating condition.
- Install the seat on the side with the affected safety belt buckle and pretensioner. Refer to

- Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS). - With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
.WARNING: The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. Refer to Safety Belt System .
