Removal and Installation

Remove the rear door trim panel; Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Position the watershield aside.
Remove the rear door latch remote control.
CAUTION: When drilling out the latch remote control rivets, do not oversize the holes in the door sheet metal. Make sure not to exceed a 6.25 mm (.25 in) drill bit.
1. Disconnect the necessary actuating rods and cables.
2. Remove the rivets.
3. Remove the rear door latch remote control.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
