Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the door latch. Refer to Front Door Latch  or REAR DOOR LATCH - Crew Cab, Excursion  or Liftgate Latch .
  2. Remove the door ajar switch.
    NOTE: The front door latch shown, rear door latch and liftgate latch are similar.
    1. Lift up on the locking tab.
    2. Rotate and remove the door ajar switch.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
