Window Glass - Rear: Removal

Regular and Crew Cab vehicles

Remove the rear trim panels. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .

SuperCab vehicles

Remove the child safety seat tether anchors. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
Remove the rear corner trim panels. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
All vehicles

NOTE: Removal of the back window glass (42006) requires an assistant to hold the back glass window as it is pushed out.

From inside the vehicle, pull down on the back window glass weatherstrip (42084) and push back the window glass and back window glass weatherstrip from the back window glass opening.
Remove the weatherstrip from the rear window.

Remove all traces of butyl from the window glass opening and the back window weatherstrip.
