Window Glass - Rear: Installation

All vehicles

NOTE: Installation of the back glass window requires an assistant to push the back glass window as it is being installed.

Fig 1: Installing Weatherstrip To Rear Window

Install the weatherstrip to the rear window.
Install the window installation rope to the window weatherstrip.

Lubricate the window weatherstrip with soapy water.
Position the rear window to the rear window opening.
Using the assistance of another technician, install the rear window.
- Pull the installation rope from the window weatherstrip.
- Slightly push inward and downward on the rear window glass (technician two).

SuperCab vehicles

Install the rear corner trim panels. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Install the child safety seat tether anchors. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .

Regular and Crew Cab vehicles

Install the rear trim panel. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
