Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the retainers and the rear seat.
    NOTE: Removing the rear seat requires more than one technician.

  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    NOTE: When installing the seat, tighten the two front mounting bolts, then the rear two mounting nuts.
  3. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
    • Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
