Heated Seat Module - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

- Install the heated seat module in the mounting bracket. Verify that the locking tab is correctly seated.
- Attach the heated seat module electrical connector.
- Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to FRONT SEAT - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR) .
- Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Deactivation and Reactivation .WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure.
- With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
.WARNING: The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.
- Check the active restraints for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
