Front Seat Cushion - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Assembly

Place the seat cushion foam pad on the seat cushion pan.
Position and stretch the seat fabric over the foam cushion while attaching the hook and loop fasteners.

Attach the J-clips, butterfly clips and scrivets.
WARNING: The metal edges of seat cushion pan can be sharp.

Install the front seat cushion assembly. Refer to FRONT SEAT CUSHION - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR) .
Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Deactivation and Reactivation .

With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
WARNING: The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.
