Module Controlled Functions

The vehicle security module (VSM) is the only multifunction module on this vehicle.
The VSM constantly monitors its subsystems for concerns. If a concern is found in one of the subsystems, the VSM will record the concern in the form of a diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
The VSM controls the following systems:
- remote keyless entry (including panic feature)
- computer-operated locks
- autolamp
- keypad keyless entry (Excursion only)
