Removal and Installation

NOTE: The following removal and installation procedure applies to all audio units.

Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the audio unit from the instrument panel.
1. Use the special tool to release the audio unit retaining clips.
2. Apply outward pressure on the special tool while pulling the audio unit away from the instrument panel.
3. Remove the audio unit.
- Disconnect the audio unit electrical connectors.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
