Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery cables. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT - Dual .
Remove the battery ground cable screw.

Remove the four pin-type retainers and position the upper radiator air deflector aside.
Remove the bolts and position the radiator support bracket aside.

Remove the pin-type retainers from along the top of the radiator support bracket and remove the nuts.

Remove the pin-type retainer on the top of the LH frame rail.

Remove the bolt from the left front of the engine block.

Remove the RH battery cable harness.
1. Remove the nut and remove the positive starter cable and bracket.
2. Remove the stud and remove the ground cable eyelet.

Remove the screw.

Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.
Disconnect the starter motor connections.
1. Remove the nut and disconnect the solenoid cable.
2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter motor positive cable.

Remove the battery cable harness assembly.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
