Test E: Warning Indicator Is Off With Ignition Switch In Run Position & Engine Off

Turn ignition on. Disconnect generator 3-pin harness connector. Connect a fused (15-amp) jumper wire between ground and generator connector terminal No. "I" (Light Green/Red wire). See Figure. If warning indicator illuminates, replace generator and test system operation. If warning indicator does not illuminate, repair warning indicator problem as necessary.
