Belt Idler Pulley - 7.3L Diesel Engine: Removal

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - (With A/C)  or ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - (Without A/C) .
    2. NOTE: Upper idler pulley shown; lower idler pulley similar.

  2. Remove the accessory drive belt idler pulley.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    2. Remove the pulley.
