Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
    2. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the transmission from the jack.
  2. Remove the flexplate. Refer to Flexplate .
  3. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft oil slinger (6310).

  4. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.
