Removal & Installation

- Remove pads. See FRONT CALIPER PADS . Remove caliper anchor plate bolts and anchor plate.Fig 1
- Mark rotor-to-wheel bolt relationship, and remove rotor. If rotor is difficult to remove, apply Rust Penetrant & Inhibitor (F2AZ-19A501-A), or equivalent. If excessive force must be used during rotor removal, rotor runout must be checked at installation. See DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Before installation, clean any rust or foreign material from rotor and wheel hub using Brake Parts Cleaner (F6AZ-2C410-AB). Apply High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant (F6AZ-9L494-AA), or equivalent, onto hub flange.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check runout.
