Test D: Warning Indicator Is On With Engine Running, System Charges

Disconnect generator 3-pin harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Observe warning indicator. If warning indicator is not illuminated, replace generator. If warning indicator is illuminated, repair short to ground in Light Green/Red wire between generator and instrument cluster. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
