Diagnostic tests or repairs are not to be performed on seat track position sensors with front seats installed in vehicle, if front seat are equipped with side air bags. Prior to diagnosis or repair of seat track position sensors on seats equipped with side air bags, remove appropriate front seat and ensure appropriate air bag simulator are installed at side air bag floor harness connector. See FRONT SEAT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
