Diagnostic tests or repairs are not to be performed on seat belt buckle switch with seat installed in vehicle, if front seat is equipped with side air bags. Prior to diagnosis or repair of seat belt buckle switch on seat equipped with side air bag, remove appropriate front seat and ensure appropriate air bag simulator is installed at side air bag floor harness connector. See FRONT SEAT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
