Diagnostic tests or repairs are not to be performed on side air bag system with front seat installed in vehicle. Prior to diagnosis or repair of side air bag, remove appropriate front seat and ensure appropriate air bag simulator is installed at side air bag floor harness connector. See FRONT SEAT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
