Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Cooler

Remove intake manifold. See appropriate ENGINES article. Remove stud bolts and bolt. See Fig 1. Separate Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler from intake manifold. Remove and discard gasket and "O" ring. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten stud bolts and bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install NEW "O" ring and gasket to EGR cooler. See Fig 2.
