Removal & Installation (3.0L 4V)

CAUTION:
DO NOT pull on spark plug wire as it may separate from spark plug wire connector inside spark plug wire boot. Remove spark plug wires by slightly twisting while pulling upward.
Remove right cowl panel grille. See Fig 1. Remove screws and water shield. See Fig 2. Noting spark plug wire position, remove spark plug wires by slightly twisting while pulling upwards and disconnect ignition coil connector. Remove 3 coil mounting bolts and remove ignition coil. See Fig 3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure spark plug wire position noted during removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
