  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect fuel supply line. See FUEL LINE CONNECTOR .
  2. NOTE: Remove fuel injection supply manifold and fuel injectors as an assembly.
  3. Disconnect fuel Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) sensor electrical and vacuum connector. Disconnect 6 fuel injector electrical connectors. Remove 4 fuel injection supply manifold retaining bolts. See Fig 1. Carefully remove fuel injection supply manifold and injectors as a unit. Remove fuel injectors and discard "O" rings.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. When installing fuel injection supply manifold assembly, use NEW "O" rings. Lubricate "O" rings with clean 5W-30 engine oil. Push fuel injection supply manifold down to ensure all injector "O" rings are fully seated in fuel injection supply manifold cups and intake manifold. Install fuel injection supply manifold bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check for fuel leaks when completed.
