Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. On vehicles with dual batteries, see MISCELLANEOUS under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove right cowl side trim panel and disconnect Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch electrical connector. Remove IFS switch mounting bolts and remove switch. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten IFS switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
