Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal

Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustrations.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator (1). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Remove clip from fuel pressure regulator (2). Remove fuel pressure regulator (3). Remove and discard "O" ring (and gasket if applicable).
