Removal & Installation (6.8L)

Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. Remove the vacuum line from the EGR valve. Remove Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor bracket bolts and position bracket aside. Disconnect the EGR tube fittings and position the EGR tube aside. See EGR VALVE TUBE . Remove 2 EGR valve bolts and remove EGR valve. Discard gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install new gasket. Tighten bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
