Removal & Installation (5.4L)

Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. Remove the EGR valve-to-exhaust manifold tube. See EGR VALVE TUBE . Disconnect EGR valve vacuum hose. Remove 2 bolts and remove EGR valve. Discard gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install new gasket. Tighten bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
