Diagnostic Aids

Perform this test when directed by QUICK TEST. This test is only intended to diagnose the following components and circuits:
- Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Wiring Harness Circuits (CPP & SIG RTN)
- Clutch Pedal Position Switch
The normally closed Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch detects when the clutch pedal is depressed (manual transmissions) to disable the speed control system and PTO and raised-idle mode. Switch actuation occurs as the clutch is initially depressed prior to disengaging the transmission at the top of travel.
