Removal & Installation: Thermostat: Removal

- Partially drain the cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING . Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
- Remove the thermostat housing bolts and remove the thermostat housing. See Fig 1. Remove the thermostat and "O" ring seal. Discard the "O" ring seal.
