Clutch Master Cylinder & Reservoir (F150): Installation

Depress clutch pedal at least 10 times to check for proper release and smooth operation.
- Bleed the clutch master cylinder until a solid stream of fluid exits at the quick connect coupling end of tube. See BLEEDING . Open the internal mechanism of the male quick connect coupling and fully depress and hold the clutch master cylinder push rod.
- Release the internal mechanism of the quick end connector and release the clutch master cylinder push rod. Install the clutch master cylinder. Rotate the clutch master cylinder 45 degrees counterclockwise. See Fig 1 .
- Install the clutch master cylinder reservoir pushpins. See Figure . Connect the CPP switch. See Figure . Connect the clutch master cylinder push rod and retainer bushing.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Connect the clutch hydraulic line to the transmission. Lower the vehicle. Turn on the air suspension switch, if equipped. Air suspension switch is located in right side kick panel area. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system. See BLEEDING .
