Four-Wheel Drive Systems

The mechanical-shift four-wheel drive system consists of the following components:

- transfer case shifter
- shift linkage
The electronic-shift, four-wheel drive system consists of the following components:
- transfer case (For transfer case repair procedures, refer to OVERHAUL - T/C (NV271 & NV273) .)
- four-wheel drive (4WD) control module (for 4WD control module installation, refer to Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) Control Module .)
- mode select switch (MSS)
- gearmotor encoder assembly
