Front Brake Caliper: Disassembly

Remove caliper. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER & PADS  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. To remove caliper piston, place shop towels in caliper and apply air pressure to brake hose bore. See Figure. Remove and discard dust boot. Being careful not to scratch caliper bore or piston, remove and discard piston bore seal.
