Four-Door Sedan
- Raise vehicle on hoist or alignment machine so vehicle is at curb height and wheels are on flat surface.
- Without changing the position of the upper nut on the valve operating rod, loosen adjuster set screw. See Fig 1.
- Cut a piece of 3/8" (O.D.) by 1/4" (I.D.) vacuum hose or plastic tubing .64" (16.3 mm) long, and slice it lengthwise. Place on valve operating rod. See Fig 1.
- Ensure that the valve adjuster sleeve is sliding freely and is resting on the lower mounting bracket. Tighten adjuster set screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Lower the vehicle.
