Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the engine air cleaner (ACL) and the air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM & FILTERING SYSTEM - EXCURSION & F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUP .
  2. Remove the bolt and remove the oil level indicator tube.
    • Discard the O-ring seals.
    • Inspect the oil level indicator tube for damage.

    3. NOTE: Lubricate the new O-ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Install new O-ring seals prior to installation.
