Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Insert punch through lower steering column shroud hole and push ignition lock cylinder release tab while pulling out ignition switch lock cylinder. Twist and remove tilt wheel handle. Move steering gear selector to lowest position. Release 4 clips and remove steering column opening cover. Remove steering column shrouds. Remove multifunction switch retaining screws. Disconnect electrical harness connector. Remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
