Removal & Installation

  1. Raise glass to full up position. Remove door trim panel and peel back watershield. See DOOR TRIM PANEL . Disconnect motor wiring harness connector, and position wiring out of way. Using a 3/4" hole saw with a 1/4" pilot, drill out existing 3 dimples in door to expose motor mounting bolts.
  2. Prior to motor removal, ensure regulator arm is in full up position and secured to prevent counterbalance spring from unwinding. Remove bolts. Disengage motor from regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Cycle motor to ensure gears engage.
