Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable and wait for at least one minute. Deactivate air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Remove appropriate power seat. See SEAT ASSEMBLY . Remove power seat track. See SEAT TRACK . Cut wire ties from air ducts at seat fan motor. Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove 4 screws and remove seat fan motor. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
