Removal & Installation
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels.
- Pull back parking brake lever at rear caliper. Disconnect parking brake cable from lever. Remove conduit retaining clip (if equipped). Disconnect parking brake cable from brake caliper. See Fig 1.
- Using suitable brake hose clamp, clamp brake hose. Loosen brake fluid hose from caliper. See Fig 2.
- Disconnect caliper from brake anchor plate. See Fig 3.
- Remove pads from caliper and anchor plate.
- Remove caliper and disconnect from hose, if service is necessary.
- To install, reverse removal procedures. Use Rear Brake Caliper Piston Adjuster (T75P-2588-A) and Adapter (T87P-2588-A) for adjuster to retract caliper piston into caliper. See Fig 4. Ensure caliper retaining bolt springs are correctly located. See Fig 3.
