Removal & Installation (Manual Transaxle)

  1. Remove cup holders on both sides of console and remove screws beneath cup holders. Remove gearshift lever boot from center console. On SVT models, remove gearshift lever trim panel and disconnect electrical connector. See Figure.
  2. For vehicles with center armrest, remove armrest trim panel and remove the 2 retaining screws. See Figure. Remove retainer from rear of center console. See Figure. For vehicles without center armrest, remove insert from rear of center console and remove the 3 retaining nuts. See Figure.
  3. On all applications, engage parking brake fully and detach the boot. Remove the center console from vehicle.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
