4WD Control Module

CAUTION: Prior to removal of the four-wheel drive (4WD) control module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a scan tool. Upon installation of new module, it is necessary to download module information to new module. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - EXCURSION & F250-550 PICKUPS article.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove compartment and lower it completely. Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove 2 nuts and one bolt from 4X4 control module and remove module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
