High Pressure Oil Pump: Installation

Install high pressure oil pump with gasket. Install mounting bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install drive sprocket on high pressure oil pump shaft. Before tightening drive sprocket bolt, ensure sprocket is fully seated on pump shaft.
To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Ensure hoses are correctly routed. See Figure. Refill high pressure oil pump reservoir with clean engine oil. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
