Removal & Installation

Remove air inlet duct. Remove turbocharger compressor manifold. Remove fuel/water separator. Disconnect wiring from injector control pressure solenoid. Remove nut securing injection control pressure solenoid to high pressure oil pressure regulator. Remove high pressure oil pressure regulator from high pressure oil pump. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten high pressure oil pressure regulator to 35 ft. lbs. (47 N.m).
